Out in Scarborough, born and raised, in a playground is where Steven spent most of his days. Usually chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool, and shooting some b-ball (and playing soccer) outside of his school. Basketball, specifically fantasy basketball helped get him into investing when he saw the benefit of finding hidden value in certain players. Steven’s hard work paid off at only 13 when he finished in the top percentile on NBA.com Fantasy Basketball. Internally, we're worried about his dominating our company leagues, but we're sure that he'll be reading more annual reports and prospectuses than when he was a teenager. Before joining EdgePoint as one of our freshest members, Steven worked in Los Angeles as an associate at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. and an investment banking analyst at Moelis & Company. He earned his HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University and is a CFA charterholder.
