Sometimes you have to go around the world to find talented partners, but if you’re lucky they’ll come find you. Rameen left Bangladesh at the age of 16 to attend school located on a man-made island in China. She described it as a one-of-a-kind experience – how many schools have both kung-fu training and Mandarin classes? Rameen admits that she’s rusty at both now, but she can still help you order from a Chinese McMenu. She continued her journey eastward and made it to Toronto for university and decided to call it home. In between exploring the city and studying for her CFA, she enjoys spending her free time riding rollercoasters, parasailing, snorkeling or keeping her shoes lined up (because it would be unlucky not to).

Before joining EdgePoint, Rameen worked as a personal banking advisor at TD. She earned her B.Comm in Finance from the University of Toronto.
