Mike’s goal of making the NBA started during his middle school days in Hong Kong. He put his pro hoop dreams to bed to join our Institutional Relationship Management team, but Mike still dominates on the court for the EdgePoint basketball team. He’s fluent in speaking Mandarin and Cantonese which he tries to maintain by often singing songs at his favourite karaoke bar. Mike loves to travel the world with the goal of discovering every speakeasy bar that exists. He’s brought a lot of laughter to the office and we’re hoping that this secret rom-com fan has found his happy ever after at EdgePoint.

Before joining EdgePoint, Mike was the co-head of client relations at Black Creek Investment Management and an investment consultant at Willis Towers Watson. He earned his B.Comm. in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto and his M.Fin. from Queen’s University. Mike is also a CFA charterholder.
