Football (a.k.a. soccer) has always played a huge part in Max’s life. The relationship manager grew up playing the beautiful game in his birthplace of Mexico. While he still enjoys watching the sport (including co-hosting an office watch party for the 2026 World Cup’s opening game), Max has since traded in his cleats for golf shoes. Shooting lower than 100 for a round is his current athletic goal but he thinks that seeing his favourite team Real Madrid at the Bernabéu would be more realistic. Max denies that his inability to eat spicy food had anything to do with his move to Canada.

Prior to joining EdgePoint, Max worked as a client account specialist at Hybrid Financial. He earned his BComm in Management from Fanshawe College.
