The fifth of six siblings, Max made his entrance into the world with an unplanned home birth – foreshadowing his lifelong tendency to show up early. Growing up, he spent countless hours on the basketball court, playing competitively and dreaming big. When he realized the NBA wasn’t calling, he traded his basketball for a backpack and spent two months trekking through the Andes in Peru and Bolivia. When he’s not listening to country music or debating sports with friends, you’ll find Max golfing in the summer, snowboarding in the winter or managing his fantasy sports leagues.

Before joining EdgePoint’s Investment Analytics team, Max was an Analyst at Scotia Wealth Management and worked in Institutional Operations at CI Global Asset Management. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of British Columbia and is a CFA charterholder.
