“Hola! Me llamo Juan” is something Juan Gomez would not say as he’s not Spanish, nor does he speak it. He joins EdgePoint after working as a regulator at IIROC for 13 years. Crossing over from regulation was easier than his normal trips to the U.S. where Homeland Security employees sigh as they scroll through a long list of people with questionable histories that share his name. His interests appear to revolve mostly around food, exploring the city and activities that involve throwing things at other things, such as Ultimate (Frisbee), axe throwing and disc golf. Juan has a BA in English (Rhetoric and Professional Writing) from the University of Waterloo but like many English majors has found himself trading lines of poetry for lines of Excel.
