Jin's journey to EdgePoint from South Korea started when he moved to St. John, New Brunswick at the age of 12. Despite the allure of the ocean air, he eventually went inland to Toronto for university. One of Jin's first jobs in Hogtown was in a Korean restaurant, but he admits that his cooking somehow didn’t improve despite getting a lot of dishwashing experience. When Jin isn't trying to avoid starting kitchen fires, he enjoys playing poker and any sport involving a ball. He can often be heard chatting about Liverpool FC with fellow fan and Investment team member Jason.

Prior to joining EdgePoint, Jin was a research intern at another investment firm. He earned his B.Comm. from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.
