Hennie, short for Hendrik, is the third person in his family to carry the name (the other two being his grandfather and uncle). Like other EdgePointers, he appreciates positive change – the biggest example in his life was when he traded an accounting career to join us when he became a relationship manager. We’re lucky to have a team player like Hennie since he represents EdgePoint on the basketball court. His most exciting memory of growing up in South Africa, other than eating biltong and boerewors, was going cage diving with crocodiles. After doing that, it’s no surprise that he’s never scared reading the Stephen King novels he loves.

Prior to joining EdgePoint, Hennie was a senior accountant at KPMG Canada. He earned his BComm in Accounting from the University of Calgary and is a CPA.
