Heather lives, eats and breathes three things – investing, maple bacon and golf. She had a head start in the finance industry thanks to being recruited by her advisor mom, and even took that opportunity to earn an early CFP. Sweet and savoury maple bacon is Heather's culinary passion. Ever the perfectionist, she devoted dozens of hours mastering her cooking technique. With all this newfound time, Heather added a new hobby to her bag – golf. She spends most of her warm weather weekends on a course, and has even begun incorporating it into her vacations (there go any carry-on only plans). In between the kitchen and the greens, she makes time to add to her burgeoning red wine collection, as well as exploring Toronto’s neighbourhoods by bike or foot.

Before joining EdgePoint, she worked as an associate advisor at Generations Financial Solutions and an independent financial advisor with Sun Life Financial.
