Before joining EdgePoint, “Grandmaster” Andrew – yes, he’s an expert at chess too – was an equity research analyst at Sionna Investment Managers from 2010 to 2012. Previously, he spent four years at BMO Harris Investment Management working with high-net-worth clients. Andrew has a BA in Finance and Economics from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA charterholder. We’re lucky enough to have him as a portfolio manager focusing on equity research, another area he excels in. What isn’t Andrew good at? From what we can ascertain, keeping a clean desk is his only shortcoming and notwithstanding his athleticism, he seems to have an aversion to plain ol’ walking.
