Before James joined EdgePoint, the advisor on his team often said nice things about the company. James soon realized we were the right place for him and, after months of persistence – some might call it pestering but we won’t! – James joined our Investment Analytics and ESG Oversight team. While this devoted dad, lover of spicy foods and self-proclaimed country boy has proven to be a good sport at the office, he’s also very good at sports. In fact, twice he was named his high school’s athlete of the year. Having both brains and brawn, James earned a BA in Economics from the University of Waterloo and is a CFA charterholder. He became a financial risk consultant at IBM before moving over to our industry.
