The first interaction Stas had with an EdgePointer happened in the 2010s, when he met future fellow Investment Team member Andrew at the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting in Omaha. There they bonded over their affinity for long-term investing and See’s Candies. He first showed his passion for investing in the early 2000s when he launched a student-led fund while still attending university. Stas then spent a decade and a half at a Canada-based global investment manager. Away from the office, he enjoys reading, sipping a cup of green tea or savouring artisan sushi.

He earned a B.Comm from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Columbia University.
